A simple simulation of a liquid, we can find out in a witch’s pot.
I had an emitter, with bubble particles.
The interaction with the wave surface (animated with a procedural texture displacement and a move animation) created dynamic painted zone.
As a result, with the help of the dynamic painting tool in Blender, it was easy to make this effect of big bubble pop on the surface.
Finally, when I mixed this two surface animation, I had a relative-complex looking surface animation, with different levels of animation.
I made this sequence for a friend’s movie but the film never came out…
